We are adding Seasonal Craft days to the SCL yearly calendar. Our first is this Saturday! Here is what we will be doing:
Kelly will give simple instructions on how to make your own shamanic shield. You will learn your circle of birth sitting place animals to create your first shield.
Guidelines for making fans and honoring the give away of the birds.
Hokkshideh (protection) bundles. These align you with the worlds and powers of Grandmother Earth and protect your own essence when wearing. See below for an example of bundle coverings. Some will be available for purchase.
Bring a talisman for ceremonial blessings that can be used for protection when worn. The item goes through a 28 day blessing performed by Kelly.
Cost: Hokkshideh Bundle materials & Talisman ceremony 20$ Donations to Kelly/lodge for crafting advice.
Bring your own materials for fan making, shield making or any other craft project you would like to work on that day! You may cut saplings from the land to create a hoop for the shield. We do have a leather punch, glue, and other simple supplies to share.

Covid considerations: If you are at risk or have possible exposure do not attend. Because we will likely be on the deck or indoors people will come at their own risk and if you don't feel comfortable sharing space with others at this time it's best to wait to visit.
