The Birthing of our Sacred Geometry Greenhouse
The dream of a greenhouse at SCL began several years ago. When the retaining wall for a greenhouse was finally actualized earlier this year, a conversation began with Brook and Lisa about just how awesome it could be…not your average high tunnel but a piece of art. Immediately Brook thought of a No Limits Society member, Esther Aliu, an architect from Barcelona versed in Universal Sacred Geometry.
Sacred Geometry design has been used in many ancient temples and holy sites. In essence the greenhouse is a temple. The exact proportions of every aspect of the greenhouse from the doors, structural posts and beams, windows, and raised beds are precisely located using geometric wisdom. The design inherently charges and influences the structure and how it relates to the Cosmos, ultimately enhancing the flow of energy into the space, resulting in above average plant growth and vitality.
The dynamic trio of Brook, Lisa, and Richard bring spirited focus to the craftsmanship and construction of this dream. The shell is complete and we are working to finish out the exterior and interior skins this winter. Already it is a great space to hangout! Come visit the Galactic Greenhouse for a cosmic boost!
