Being Female on this planet is a wonderful blessing and a great mystery. Together we will enter the “womb of winter” and explore wisdom from the Grandmothers of the Twisted Hairs lineage through teachings, interactive experiences, and ceremony. Our intent is to discover our own “womb knowing” using the sage guidance of the Elders. As we engage with the cycles of peri-menopause and menopause we change. As each of us becomes clear, we impact the rest of our planet. Let’s begin with ourselves.

Spirit Canoe Lodge is located in the northwest corner of North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountains (Boone 50 mins; Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro 2.5 hrs; Raleigh, Chapel Hill 3 hrs). The New River flows nearby, only surpassed in age by the Nile. Water is healing, and rivers that flow north are rare. Yes, these mountains are ancient, and many who travel here can feel this deep in their bones. The location is completely private on a 53-acre “holler” with gravity fed spring water, surrounded by hardwood forest. Come prepared to explore the magical inner and outer terrain!
